Case IH is introducing a new generation of Farmall C utility tractors to the Australian and New Zealand markets, featuring higher gross vehicle weight, increased hydraulic output, revised cab ergonomics, and integrated digital farming capabilities.
Structural upgrades for loader and mixed-farm work
The new Farmall C series has been structurally upgraded to support a gross vehicle weight of 7,000 kg, paired with larger 540/65R 38 rear tyres. This increases the tractor’s footprint, stability, and load-handling capability, particularly for loader-intensive tasks and mixed farming operations.
To match the higher chassis capacity, the drivetrain and supporting components have been strengthened, enabling the tractor to operate more effectively with heavier implements and during frequent road transport between fields or facilities.
Higher hydraulic output and control precision
Hydraulic performance has been increased to 82 litres per minute, improving responsiveness for front loaders and hydraulic implements. The system supports advanced mid-mount valve joystick functions, allowing more precise control during materials handling and repetitive operations.
Shifting and shuttle operation have also been refined to support smoother and more accurate manoeuvring, particularly in tasks that require frequent direction changes, such as feeding, stacking, or yard work.
Cab redesign and operator assistance features
The cab has been overhauled to improve operator comfort and usability during long operating hours. Cab suspension reduces vibration and shock transmission from uneven terrain, while a redesigned digital dashboard provides clearer visibility of operating parameters and easier access to settings.
A key functional addition is ActiveClutch, a brake-to-clutch feature that allows the tractor to be slowed or stopped using the brake pedal alone, with motion resuming when the brake is released. This reduces clutch pedal use in stop-start operations and can lower operator fatigue in confined or repetitive working environments.

Integrated precision farming and telematics
For the first time, the Farmall C series is available with fully factory-integrated precision farming and telematics systems. This allows guidance, machine monitoring, and data collection to be deployed without aftermarket installation, simplifying setup and ensuring system compatibility from delivery.
Such integration supports more consistent adoption of digital tools in utility tractor segments, where ease of use and reliability are often critical factors for operators.
Enhanced operator interface options
An optional gear-lever-mounted multi-controller is newly available, enabling control of power shifting and power shuttling directly from the operator’s hand. This interface brings functionality more commonly associated with higher-horsepower tractors into the utility segment, improving precision and reducing hand movement during complex tasks.
Model range and positioning
The updated lineup includes the Farmall 100 C and Farmall 120 C models, targeting farms that require a versatile tractor capable of handling loader work, field tasks, and transport duties within a compact utility platform.
Within the context of agricultural equipment development, the new Farmall C series reflects a broader trend toward increasing capability, comfort, and digital integration in mid-range utility tractors, aligning day-to-day operational efficiency with evolving farm management practices in Australia and New Zealand.
