Belgian show debut for refreshed 100-117hp Farmall C tractors / Spotlight on precision technology / Puma specified for root crop grower needs
Advanced Solutions for Belgian Arable, Dairy, and Root Crop Farming
Farmers looking for compact orchard tractors, mid-range utility models, powerful field tractors, or equipment tailored to root crop production will find a concentrated overview of Case IH’s newest technologies at Agribex 2025 (3 - 7 December). The brand is presenting updates that respond to current Belgian farm needs, particularly precision farming, loader work efficiency, and specialised wheel configurations for crop-sensitive operations.
What Sets the New Farmall C Models Apart
The debut of the new 100–117 hp Farmall C range highlights improvements intended to give farmers more transmission flexibility, easier loader handling, and stronger factory integration than competing utility tractors. Alongside the existing 24F/24R ActiveDrive 2, the range now includes a 12F/12R ManualDrive transmission with an electronic power shuttle, offering clutchless directional changes. Optional creep speeds expand the setup to 20F/20R.
A new brake-to-clutch ActiveClutch function further differentiates these models by making loader work smoother, disengaging drive automatically when braking. Factory-fitted L635 mechanical self-levelling loaders raise up to 2.0 tonnes to 3.8 metres, giving the tractors a fully integrated system rather than a third-party add-on.
New Puma Series Designed for Better Manoeuvrability and Precision
Representing the newest Puma generation, the Puma 185 on display features updated styling and engineering refinements intended to outperform other tractors in its segment in terms of turning radius, ride comfort, and implement performance. The latest front axle suspension, upgraded braking, transmission improvements, and strengthened rear connections provide more stability and control for mixed arable and livestock operations.
For root crop growers, a Puma 220 fitted with dual narrow wheels, specialist tyres and a central tyre inflation system demonstrates how factory compatibility with specialist equipment can reduce soil compaction and improve traction in sensitive crops.
Compact Handling and Baling Solutions
Case IH is also presenting the Farmlift 626 telescopic handler, designed for mixed farms needing strong lift capacity in tight spaces. It handles 2.6 tonnes to a height of 6.0 metres, providing a compact yet powerful alternative to larger handlers.
In forage applications, the RB456 Rotor Cutter variable chamber baler forms bales up to 1.65 metres with 13- or 25-knife options, supporting high-density baling with consistent chopping performance.
Support for Training and Industry Inclusion
The stand at Agribex not only showcases machinery but also highlights initiatives that set the brand apart in industry engagement. A dedicated Ladies’ Day signals efforts to strengthen the role of women in agriculture through technology access and professional opportunities.
Case IH is also backing the Workshop Live project by supplying machines for hands-on student training, reinforcing its commitment to developing future agricultural engineers.
